The first word that comes to mind when I think of Nancy is "sweet." She was "sugar and spice and everything nice." Like cinnamon coffee cake Being around her, you could smell the sweet aroma of Jesus and always leave with a good taste in your mouth. She could be gentle as a lamb with hurting people, bold as a lion against the powers of darkness, and more powerful in the spirit than she knew. Always kind and so thoughtful, compassionate and merciful, a friend who encouraged me and cheered my heart. I will always be grateful that God brought her into my life and that our friendship is eternal because of Jesus.
Nan, I hope you finally have the answers to those questions you've struggled with. I will miss your smiling eyes and cute laugh and our times of sharing here, but joy wells up inside when I think of you finally free of the physical limitations of an earthly body... of you and Jerry holding each other again for the first time since he went on ahead...of your reunion celebration with Lynn and Ann. Nan, would you please give them all and Dave a hug for me? Before we know it, we'll be enjoying the greatest family reunion of all time and I'll get to hug you guys myself! Ah, I'm looking forward to that day!
