Obituary of Merlin E. Scharfe

Penfield – On October 20, 2020 at age 77. Merlin is predeceased by his mother, Violet Scharfe; wife, Jeanette K. "Jeannie"; sister, Beverly Knapper. He is survived by his children, Todd (Kathy), Terri (John) Pretino, Christin (Tom) Greenwood; grandchildren, Jamie (John) Hornberger, Justin and Jordan Scharfe, Ryan and Rebecca Pretino, Zoe and Jenna Greenwood; several nieces and nephews. No prior calling. Merlin’s Funeral Service will be held Friday, October 23, 11AM at Jennings, Nulton & Mattle Funeral Home, 1704 Penfield Road. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider donations to Dementia Society of America.
