Obituary of Barbara A. Gorman

The Gorman family mourns the passing of Barbara Gorman who died comfortably at her home on October 17. She is predeceased by her sister, Rosemary Watson. Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Thomas Gorman; daughters, Susan (CJ) Urlaub and Linda (Bob) Rutan; sons, Thomas (Lisa) Gorman and Neal (Dakila) Gorman; 12 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Barbara was extremely active and would be frequently seen walking around Penfield, and shopping at her favorite spots: Panorama Plaza, Browncroft Plaza, and Midtown Plaza, especially in their hay days. Born in 1932 to Alice and John Perrich, Barbara grew up in Brooklyn, NY, attending Our Lady of Perpetual Help and St. Bernard’s schools. She will be sorely missed. Barbara’s Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Joseph’s Church, 43 Gebhardt Road, Wednesday, October 21, 2020, 10am. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider donations to a charity of your choice in Barbara’s name.
