Ann was such a lovely neighbor. Always kind to our children when they came by selling girl scout cookies or cub scout popcorn... always a cheerful soul. She always waved hello when she saw us, and I wish I had known her better. Some of her sketchbooks and supplies will live on in out daughter's painting studio. Our deepest condolences.

I thoroughly enjoyed talking with Ann ( and Brian) whenever I saw them. We would talk about her experiences during WW2, as they were similar to my mothers. We'd talk about her boys, and mine. She never failed to ask me about my family. Such a fascinating person, from chemistry to art, travel, and history.. the topics were endless. She didn't want to be bothered with and fussed over but was always appreciative of company and conversation. We may not have been done with you, but i know you had done all you wanted. I so wanted to bring my boys to meet you, and i wasn't done showing the wonders of you tube and on demand TV. Brain, Robert, Graham and family, my sincere condolences to you all. For, I know, as much as i will miss her, you will miss her so, so much more.
