Dear Tom, Kelly, Matt and family,
Paul and I were so sorry to hear of Peg’s passing. The first time I met Peg was for our daughter, Molly’s preschool Storytime at the Penfield Library. Her love of reading she readily passed on to so many. Her warm and caring presence and beautiful smile will live on in our memories of her. Know that all of you are in our prayers at this difficult time. She made a very positive impact on so many at her beloved St. Joseph’s Church as well.
Love, Paul and Nancy Hogan

Dear Tom,
It was such a pleasure getting to know you and Peg during your Golden Reunion last year. We were honored to recognize the great work you and Peg did - a true testament to your Jesuit education and being men and women for and with others. Peg had a beautiful way about her. Her smile seemed to light up the room. I hope your faith and the love that surrounds you brings you comfort in the days and weeks ahead. God bless.

I am so sorry about Peg's passing. Her Mom was my highschool librarian and wonderful that she followed in her mother's footsteps. Her quest to spread her love of learning and making sure literacy was enjoyed by all as well as her faith in God, love and devotion to family life and general kindness to others make her a role model for the world in my eyes. God bless her.

Dear Peg,
May your soul be at peace in the presence of the Almighty.
May you be brought to the banquet table of the Lord, receiving a servant’s reward for bringing countless individuals in relationship with God through your tireless effort in the parish RCIA program along with Tom .
May the angels surround Tom, Kelly, Matt and their family with comfort - in doing so bring solace to their grieving hearts.
May they trust in God’s tender mercy to lift them up during this hour of need.
I will miss Peg's sweet smile and gentle demeanor and hold in my heart the lasting impression of Tom and Peg side by side at church.
In Christ,
Paula fragaszy

We are sending our love to Tom, Kelly, Matt, and families. I met Peggy in 1957 and we were best friends from 5th grade through our high school graduation, spending lots of weekends together with sleepovers and pizza parties. Peg was always smart--Salutatorian of the Class of '65--but more importantly she was gracious in spirit and consistently thoughtful. Peg was a gentle soul and we will miss her.

I will miss seeing Peg's beautiful smile across the aisle in church, and her upbeat attitude despite how she might have been feeling. As an RCIA leader, she was wonderfully warm and encouraging to my husband, Jeff Burns, and she took a sincere interest in him. She and Tom radiated joy when they were together.

I am so very sad to read of Peg’s passing. We were both Children’s Librarians, she at Penfield and I at Fairport. Her professionalism, knowledge of children’s literature, and ability to tell a great story were legendary. She had both love of children and a love of reading and she connected to her young patrons in a very meaningful way.
