Helen was such a dear woman—she jumped into life and church with both feet. I knew her when I was at resurrection as pastoral administrator and visited her when she was at St. John’s home where I am chaplain. Thank you for sharing her and her wonderful spirit with us! I loved how you wrote her obit too.
With prayers for peace for her and all who she lived,
Nancy DeRycke

Aunt Helen will be missed by all, such great memories growing up. She had a great sense of humor and shared with all around her. She loved children and bless her for her patience. Her family was very important to her even the much extended great great nieces and nephews. She so enjoyed the connections she gained with technology and being able to have a "Smart Phone" to see pictures and videos of family near and far. I will miss all of our "short phone calls". She valued her independence and right to the end tried not to burden her family and did as much as she could for herself. The move to Assisted Living was difficult in the beginning, but later she was glad to have made so many friends at her new home. RIP Aunt Helen
