Obituary of Donald J. Maggio

Donald J. Maggio of Penfield passed away January 7, 2020. He was predeceased by his son, Stephen. Don is survived by his wife of 40 years, Marlene; children, Kevin (Jane), Christopher (Karen), Kathleen (Steve) Cangialosi, Donald Joseph (Amy), Kimberly (Douglas) Thieme; 3 stepchildren, Debra Ann (Joseph) Tronolone, Lynn Marie (Randall) Catalano, Russell (Patricia) Militello; brother, Ron (JoAnn); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Don holds an Associates Degree from the Royal Photographic Society of Great Britain and a Master's Degree/Professional Photographers of America. He received the George Eastman Medal. His career started as a Naval Photographer during WW II and extended through the Korean War. Friends may call at Jennings, Nulton & Mattle Funeral Home, 1704 Penfield Road, Sunday 2-4PM. Don's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday 10AM at St. Joseph's Church, 43 Gebhardt Road, Penfield. Entombment White Haven Memorial Park.
