Father John A. Kiley posted a condolence
Wednesday, April 15, 2020
I was sorting out some old files and I came across a water color painting that Charlie gave me when we were students at St. Bernard's Seminary. Charlie had a good eye. So I entered his name on the internet and sadly his obituary came up. Please accept my condolences on his passing. I will certainly remember Charlie at Mass this week. He came to Rhode Island and took photographs of my first Mass. A fine record. He gave me a copy of the complete works of Emily Dickinson when I was ordained. He was a good friend.

I played the clarinet when I was in grammar school and I remember Uncle Charlie coming over to our house and teaching me to play. I guess he did a great job because I was picked to do a solo (Winter Wonderland) for the Christmas concert. Thank you Uncle Charlie, I will ALWAYS remember you loving! Billie
