Rochester - Unexpectedly on November 25, 2019 at age 63. He is predeceased by his parents, William and Lavonne; brother, Paul; mother-in-law, Helen Freitag. Richard is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Melissa; children, Mark and Juliana; father-in-law, Douglas Freitag; sisters-in-law, Linda Zschoche and Martha (Jeffery) Lansberry; brothers, William and Thomas; aunts, Darlene (John) Aulls and Phyllis Herold; special nieces, Sara and Emily and several other nieces and nephews; dear family friend, Janet Knapman; and his beloved dog, Kelsie.
Friends may call at Jennings, Nulton & Mattle Funeral Home, 1704 Penfield Road, Friday, December 6, 4-7 PM. Richard's Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 7, 2 PM at Penfield United Methodist Church, 1795 Baird Road, Penfield. Interment private.
