I knew Katherine as a kind, caring, fun loving friend of Brynn’s. Katherine also loved to watch our dog Daisy, and she would send us pictures and videos of Daisy while she was dog sitting. We always knew Daisy was in the best hands. I can only picture Katherine with a smile on her face. I’m so grateful that Katherine deeply touched Brynn’s life, and also mine. With love and heartfelt condolences, Jan Filsinger

I want to send you my deep sorrow and condolence to all the Vollmer family. This tragedy has affected me a lot because I was a Vollmer. I am not sure if we are related but that doesn't matter -- the reality for you is there. I have two daughters and I can't imagine the deep emotions you are going through. My dad was Joseph Vollmer with a 50 acre farm on Clay Rd. in Henrietta. My cousin, Clement
Vollmer and his wife, Mary, lived on the short road off Jefferson Avenue near RIT--
can't remember the name. One of the schools in Henrietta was named after Mary who was a music teacher - the Vollmer school.
Katherine was a lovely girl and I hope the wonderful memories of such a beautiful and talented girl will help you get through this very sad time.
Katherine, may you have peace and joy in your new home.
May God bless you and your family with His strength and peace.

Katherine was a beautiful young women! I was in awe at all she had accomplished in her young life! Katherine was our go to babysitter. Our daughter loved when she babysat, frequently asking us to "go out" so Katerine could come down! We saw Katherine at Scoops this past summer and even though she was busy, she would always take a few minutes so she and my daughter could catch up. Our hearts are very heavy, but we are so fortunate to have known such a remarkable young women! We hold the entire Vollmer family close in heart.

I feel so fortunate that I was able to spend time with and get to know Katherine as her 7th grade English teacher. I was even more fortunate to see & chat with her through the years at What’s Ur Scoop. I was able to hear about her plans & hear her excitement. I will never forget her infectious smile. I am so incredibly sorry that the world has lost such a bright light. Please accept my sincerest condolences and know that so many of us are grieving with you.

I feel very fortunate to have been a part of Katherine's artistic endeavors in both middle and high school. She will always hold a special place in my heart for being in my first group of AP students. When we exhibited our photography together in the Nazareth "Shared Spaces" show in 2017, I was surprised to see how aesthetically similar our work looked together even though we never discussed what we were working on! I enjoyed looking at the world through her camera lens and will always remember her when I look through mine.
