Obituary of Jean C. Cheney

Jean Clark Cheney of Penfield passed away peacefully at home on September 24, 2019 at age 93. Born in Jamestown, NY, Jean grew up at Chestnut Hill on Chautauqua Lake. She graduated from Pine Manor College and worked for 2 years at 30 Rockefeller Center. She married Frederick Cheney in July 1948 and moved to Rochester. Jean is survived by her 3 children, Pamela (Jon) Rose, Laura Cheney and Mark (Marla) Cheney; granddaughters, Sarah (Ryan) Ozar and Christina (Dan) Crane; great-grandchildren, Maggie and Liam Ozar and Nora and Josie Crane; niece, Carol Bish; nephews, Bill and Jack Berger; Max (Laura's beloved Lab) and the Harrogate Drive "family".
A reception honoring Jean's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, anyone wishing may donate to Lollipop Farm in Jean's memory.
