Agnes Baroline (Johnson) Kanauer
April 2, 1930- July 13, 2019

Agnes “Bari” Kanauer, 89, passed away Saturday July 13, 2019, at Aaron Manor Nursing Home, in Penfield, NY. The daughter of William and Agnes (Nostvick) Johnson, she was born April 2, 1930 in Thompsonville, Michigan. Bari grew up on a farm in Thompsonville, Michigan. She was a graduate of Michigan State University and taught Home Economics for several years, and relocated to Penfield, NY in 1964. Bari loved spending time with friends and family, sewing and cats. Bari is survived by her sons, Robert (Kathy Miller) Kanauer, Bill (Elizabeth Murphy) Kanauer, five grandchildren; Sarah (Sean) Conley, Katie Kanauer, Matthew Kanauer, Alicia (James) Peterson, Nick Kanauer, and great grandchild; Anthony Peterson. Bari was predeceased by her loving husband, Robert Kanauer, Sr., and three siblings, Karl and Bill Johnson, and Joan Gunther.

Friends may call at Jennings, Nulton & Mattle Funeral Home, 1704 Penfield Road, Friday August 30th, 4-7PM. Bari's Memorial Service will be held Saturday August 31st, 10 AM at All Seasons Chapel in White Haven Memorial Park, 210 Marsh Road, Pittsford.
