Such fond memories of working with Jean in pharmacy at CVS. We had some wonderful times together, belly laughs, fun sharing family stories, complaining & crabbing, and at times, tears. Jean was such a special friend. Goodbye to "one classy lady". I was so blessed to have shared many years with her. Thoughts and prayers to all.

I am so sorry to hear about Jean. My family lived 2 doors down and I was very close to Janice, her daughter. Because of that, Jean was my second mom...in fact the entire family was my second family!!! It was always so much fun at the Gross's with grandma living upstairs and a constant flow of relatives and visitors!!! Jean, and the entire family, were so caring and loving to me! I remember telling my mom I wanted to be Catholic and Italian! (although I think Henry was German?) My family was all English/protestant and in my mind quite boring and not fun at all! I am re-arranging some things so I can attend the service for this wonderful woman, that I loved!!! Carol Baxter Burkwit
