Obituary of Rita D. Meyer

Rita D. Meyer of Rochester passed away March 23, 2015 at the age of 99. She was predeceased by her husband, Ralph C. Meyer. Rita is survived by her sons, James and David Meyer; daughter, Gayle (Meyer) Thomas; granddaughter, Holly Meyer; 4 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews. Rita was born on March 11, 1916 in Ridgebury, PA. She moved as a child to Rochester, NY and was the sole survivor of 7 siblings. There will be no prior visitation. Friends are invited to her Memorial Mass on Saturday, April 18th, 10AM at St. Joseph's Church, 43 Gebhardt Road, Penfield. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit University of Rochester Gift and Donor Office, PO Box 270032, Rochester, NY 14623 in her memory.
