Gladys and Sid were precious to me. I first met them when I was in a choral group from tennessee. They welcomed me into their home where they asked me to sing some of their old hymn favorites to them. Their kindness was amazing. In years that followed, my cousin Patty and I would drive from nashville to see them. Sid would take us in his convertible to see the cherry blossoms, walk along niagara falls, just talk and enjoy being together. They loved their son steve deeply and we would sit and pray together. I loved them with all my heart . They are singing at the feet of Jesus now, just where they knew they would be one day.
