Obituary of Robert E. Downhill

Robert E. Downhill of Gainesville, VA, formerly of Florida and Rochester passed away July 14, 2014 at age 96. He was predeceased by wives, Karen (Richman) and M. Frances (Jackson). He leaves behind his daughters, Natalie June, Jacqueline Shurtleff (Kenneth) and Deborah Robson (Robert); 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; brothers, Jack E and James W. Robert retired as a Manager of Production Control (KAD), Eastman Kodak Co., after 42 years of service. He was a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge (Charlotte Temple) and attended CHS and RIT (Adjunct Professor). A dedicated member, superintendent of the church school, lay reader and vestryman at the Church of the Ascension, 2 Riverside St. Rochester, NY 14613, where his memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 26 at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Church of the Ascension or Lollypop Farm.
