I was so sorry to read of Lisa's passing this morning and my heart goes out to her daughter, parents, and friends. Lisa was a participant in Brown Bag and the Metastatic Group at the Breast Cancer Coalition. She brought her own brand of joy and laughter everywhere she went. When she spoke of dancing, her eyes lit up the room. When she thought of not being here, it was her daughter she was most concerned about. Always thinking of others...
I was out on the road in late June and, while driving down Penfield Road, there she was... frozen in position. Oops. What's wrong?" I wondered. Absolutely nothing. A small rabbit was crossing the path ahead. She yielded so not to frighten. And then her eyes lifted to the sky. Such a beautiful day and she was relishing it. I loved her depth and intensity, her commitment to her patients, her glorious, beautiful heart. May she brighten the heavens with dance.
