Obituary of Edith Jane Betlem

Edith Jane Betlem of The Villages Florida and Penfield, NY. Angels took Jane home on June 24, 2014. She was born in Winchester, IN on February 27, 1937 to Walter and Harriett Steiner. She leaves behind her husband of 60 years, Paul Betlem; daughters, Lori Betlem Lytle (James), Susan Recchia (Stephen); grandchildren, Matthew Leszyk (Laila), Adam Leszyk, Kara Harris (Jason), A.J. Lytle (Vanessa) and 7 great-grandchildren, Anika, Marcus, Logan, Nathan, Hudson, Timothy and James. Jane is also survived by her brother, Larry (Aimee) Steiner. A wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Family was her greatest joy. Jane was an avid golfer, gardener and particularly enjoyed knitting and crocheting. With many friends made through the West Webster Fire Department and Ladies Auxiliary, Ontario Country Club, Shepherd Home and her Florida home in The Villages, Jane will be dearly missed by all. Jane served on the Board of Directors of John Betlem Heating and Cooling and retired from Xerox Corp. as an Executive Secretary. May she rest in peace. A Prayer Service for Jane will be held in All Seasons Chapel at White Haven Memorial Park, 210 Marsh Road, Pittsford, Saturday 10:30 AM.
