Joan M. Benati of Penfield passed away May 14, 2014. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Eder; 5 children, Sharon (Neil) Thompson, Mary Elizabeth (David) Williams, Daniel Joseph Benati, Tricia (Craig) Rist and Lisa (Keith) Chidsey; 10 grandchildren, Michael and Paul (Michelle) Thompson, Gregory, Hailey and Makaila Williams, Gabriel and Hannah Rist, Thomas, Elijah and Nathan Chidsey; 2 sisters, Anita (Daniel) Willis and Patricia (Wendell) Harsanyi; mother-in-law, Ruth Benati; 2 brothers-in-law, Danilo (Eleanore) and Michael Benati (Stephanie); many nieces, nephews and close friends. Joan's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday 11 AM at St. Joseph's Church, 43 Gebhardt Road, Penfield. Interment, St. Joseph's Cemetery.
