Obituary of Maureen Bernadette Cogan

Maureen B. “Bernie” Cogan (nee Fallon) of Penfield passed away February 16, 2014 at the age of 76 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Maganey County Kildare Ireland, arrived in the States in 1964 and settled in Penfield in 1968. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Julia Fallon; brothers, Desmond and Terrance Fallon; sister, Margo Fallon Kay. Bernie is survived by her husband, Ray Cogan; brothers, John (Anne) Fallon of CA and Kevin (Marijke) Fallon of Zimbabwe; many nieces, nephews and friends. Bernie will be remembered for her sense of adventure, love of reading and travel and quick wit. No prior calling. Bernie’s Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, March 1st, 10 AM at St. Joseph’s Church, 43 Gebhardt Road, Penfield. Interment, Oakwood Cemetery.
