Obituary of Robert A. Sanders

Robert A. Sanders of Penfield passed away September 18, 2012. He was predeceased by his ex-wife, Mary (Laveck) Kirchner and siblings, Mildred Russo, Pauline Edelsten, Harrison Sanders, and Richard Sanders. Bob is survived by sisters-in-law and caretakers, Jeanne (Jonathan) Cona and Evelyn Sanders; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Annette Laveck, Jack (Carol) Laveck, Jerry (Betty) Laveck, David (Karen) Laveck, Ed Laveck and Patrick (Donna) Laveck; many nieces and nephews; nurse's aide, Alla Slivka; longtime friend, Elizabeth McGuire. Bob was a US Army Veteran, a retired Professor of Geology at MCC and a member of Operation Friendship, where he taught Geology. Friends may call at Jennings, Nulton & Mattle Funeral Home, 1704 Penfield Road, Friday 5-8 PM. Interment private. Those wishing may make a donation to the MCC General Scholarship Fund in Bob's memory.
