John J Sobus of Greece NY died January 10, 2014. Predeceased by his first wife; Irene, grandsons, John Sobus and Scott Toombs. John is survived by his wife, Marilyn; son, John; daughter, Deborah Trynoski; stepchildren, Mark (Kim) Toombs and Kurt Toombs; grandchildren, Michael Trynoski, Melissa Eckles, Cassandra Sobus, Dannielle Sobus, Nicholas Toombs and Kelly Toombs; 3 great grandchildren; sister, Joyce Piazza; sister-in-law, Eleanor (Donald) Peggs; brother-in-law, David (Lucy) Otteni; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 4115 Dewey Ave., Monday from 10:00am to 12 noon, where services will follow at 12 noon. Interment in Oakwood Cemetery will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider donations to the church or Lifetime Care Hospice in his memory.
