We will always remember Sam with the fondest of memories ... from the Hilton Head trips with the guys, from the many luncheons with the guys and the Irondequoit Octoberfest that we shared together. R.I.P., Sam ... we will miss you terribly, but rejoice in our fond memories of you and the happy times we spent together with you and Dot.

I first met Sam in 1993 at GRS but John met Sam in the mid-late 60s while a med student at the U of R. Sam hired him as a bartender at Turkey Town USA! John still fondly recalls the story of applying for the job, Sam giving him a list of 10 drinks to learn and not to come back until he did. In a few days John returned and Sam put him behind the bar. I first met Sam in 1993 at GRS and kept up to date through Dave but John met Sam in the mid-late 60s while a med student at the U of R. Sam hired him to tend bar at Turkey Town! John still tells the story of Sam giving him a list of 10 drinks to learn and not to come back until he did. John returned in a few days and was put behind the bar. Diane, Dave, Phil and Larry, please accept my sincere sympathy on the loss of your Dad. I had the pleasure of meeting him and your Mom at the AAR Show in St. Louis in 1998. I remember also chatting with them at the airport on the way back to Rochester (I was traveling back with Bill Darling and Joe Barrett!!). I hope that all your wonderful memories of life with your Dad will help you get through this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you all and your Mom. Fondly, Patty
