Obituary of Edward Joseph Kelly

Edward Joseph Kelly of Penfield entered into eternal rest September 3, 2013 at age 81. He was predeceased by his parents, Esther and Robert J. Kelly. Edward is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Alberta Kelly; five children, Catherine (Jack) Zellefrow, Patricia (Andrew) Phelps, Linda Kelly-Ferruzza, E. Michael (Maeve) Kelly and Brian (Darlene) Kelly. Edward was the proud grandfather of 10 beloved grandchildren. He is also survived by his two brothers, Robert (Margaret) Kelly and John (Joan) Kelly and many loving nieces and nephews. The Family would like to thank the Memory Care Unit at The Friendly Home for all the wonderful care they gave Ed. He received his BS from Tufts University and his MBA from the University of Rochester and worked most of his career for Eastman Kodak in Rochester until retirement. He was also a US Navy Veteran and loved boating and fishing on the “sunny shores” of Keuka Lake. Friends may call at Jennings, Nulton & Mattle Funeral Home, 1704 Penfield Road Thursday 4-8 PM. Ed’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday 11:30 AM at St. Joseph’s Church, 43 Gebhardt Road, Penfield. Interment to follow at Oakwood Cemetery, 1975 Baird Road, Penfield.
