Obituary of Dorothy L. Dispenza

Dorothy L. Dispenza of Rochester passed away April 22, 2018 at age 89 after a long struggle with dementia. She was predeceased by her father, Charles M. Dispenza, Sr.; mother, Eleanor Dispenza; sister, June Dispenza; brother, Charles M. Dispenza, Jr. and niece, Karen A. DiNardo. Dorothy is survived by her twin sister, Patricia DiNardo; nephew, Brian J. DiNardo (Donna Perlo); niece, Sharon (David) Allen; her adoring great-grand nieces and nephews, Matthew, Sophia and Trevor. Dorothy was a loving, generous and caring daughter, sister and aunt who always had a smile and a hug for her family. Dorothy was a graduate of Nazareth College, received her Master's Degree from the U of R and she was a language teacher at Gates-Chili High School for 35 years, then was a Teacher Supervisor at St. John Fisher College. No prior calling. Dorothy's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday 12:30 PM at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 601 Edgewood Ave. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations in Dorothy's memory may be made to Golisano Children's Hospital.
