My condolences to the Davis Family, Patti and Steve, Cindy and all of Mike's family and friends. Mike was a dear friend of mine and I will miss him greatly. We were best friends growing up in the same neighborhood and that friendship continues even though he is gone. What an amazing love he had for sports and the ability to recall just about any player and their statistics. Mike was a warm, friendly, and caring guy. He loved our family and we loved Mike. I have so many wonderful memories of him and will cherish them always.
I will miss you, buddy. May you rest in peace in the loving arms of our Lord, free from pain, and suffering and the cares of this world. You were the best!.

Mike was a friend of mine since second grade. A very kind person who thought of others before himself. A role model on how to treat others. My prayers are with him and his family.

Mike was the number one fan of Penfield Chief/Patriot athletics throughout the years. While managing several sports teams in high school Mike would do the job with extreme passion. He was a dedicated youth bowling coach at Panorama Bowl years ago. Mike truly loved sports and spending time with his friends. I didn't see Mike much these last few years but did connect with him on social media recently. I'm glad he found happiness and found someone who he could share the things he loved to do with. My sincere condolences to Mike's family and friends.

My condolences to Mike's girl friend Cindy, Mike's family, Steve and Patti and all those who were close to Mike. I have been very sad after hearing of Mike's passing but know that he is at peace now and probably talking baseball in Heaven with my Dad who Mike knew very well.
Mike and I grew up together on Winterset/Heather Drive. I have so many great memories of those days and will keep them close to my heart. I did not see Mike all that often the last several years but he did come to my parents and sister's funeral/call hours; most recently last March for my mom. He always had such great things to say about my family and it was so good to catch up with him. Mike was full of life, I will miss him dearly.
Thank you to Steve and Patti for being there for him especially the last month or so.

One of my good friends in high school. Help manage the basketball and baseball teams if I recall and was always the most knowledgeable brain about all sports. Kept in touch regularly for all these years and always took the time to acknowledge my family. Was a good guy. Going to miss you Mike!

I met Mike through other friends in my post-college years in the early 1990s, and for years a group of us met weekly for dinner at the good old Ground Round, and later other places. Mike was a huge sports fan, and there were many "discussions" about Raiders versus the Bills. Mike had challenges in his life but he always loved getting together with his friends and had a joyous attitude. About a year and a half ago he came to my older daughter's high school graduation party, along with most of our other "gang" from 90s, and it was just like old times again. I will miss my friend Mike. I am only grateful that he is now out of pain and with the Lord. My deepest condolences and prayers for his family and other friends.

Our families have lost a very dear friend in Mikey Davis.
Always enjoyed his company at our Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter dinners.
We all thought of Mikey as family and he fit right in. Grandma Somerville would always
tell Mikey when he showed up, " You know the drill Michael" and he would serve himself,
as a family member.
He was very knowledgeable in sports, and was a big help at different bowling
centers as a junior bowlers coach.
Our lives are better for having had Mikey in it, love you, will miss you.

Mike.....or as he was affectionately known as "Shoe"...during his successful years as a shoe salesman for J.C. Penny had it tough these past years....but always smiled through it.. Now he has the best seats in the house.....Whenever I watch a game....doesn't matter what sport...(he also loved the Lakers and Nebraska football), I will think of those fun times at J.G. Crummer's and raise a toast to "Shoe"..........Howie
