My deepest sympathy to Peg's family. I loved working with Peg at Dayton's Corners Schoolhouse. I learned a lot of history from her and will always fold a flag correctly because of Peg's specific instructions.
She was truly a gentle woman. She was missed at the schoolhouse when she could no longer work. It was always a treat when she came to the Pie Social.
I will keep her in my prayers.

To the Combs Family - thoughts and prayers are being sent to you during this difficult time. Peg was one of my mentors when I first started teaching in 1969. What a fantastic role model she was taking me under her "hugh" wings. Thank-you, Peg, you showed me my strengths and weaknesses and helped me to use both to become a better teacher. For that alone I will be forever greatful.
