Obituary of Leona G. Nettnin
Leona G. Nettnin, age 96, of Greece, returned to her heavenly home on February 2nd. Her devotion to her family and her faith in God supported her in life and ultimately gave her peace. She was a proud WW II Navy Veteran.
Leona is predeceased by her husband John, brothers John, George, Sisters, Helen, Mary, Ceil and granddaughter, Tiffany. She is survived by her children, Susan (Jerry) Smith, Nancy Regna, Pattie (Dale) Morris, Joanne (Bill) Gately, John (Wendy) and Jim (Mary). Her grandchildren, Joshua (Ashley) Thomas, Eric (Liz) Regna, Michele (Dave) Harper, Katie (Mike) O'Toole, Melissa (Steve) Cuculich, Mark (Melissa) Gately, Christina Landry, Jason Nettnin, Adam Monna, Toni Lombardo and Steven Nettnin, and 12 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Rose Anuskiewicz.
No prior calling hours. A funeral Mass will be Tuesday, February 6th, 9:30 AM at St. Charles Church at 3003 Dewey Avenue.
A special thank you to Pat D for her spiritual support and friendship and Lifetime Care, especially Tatum, Tracy, Melissa and Sarah for the comfort and compassion they provided for her and her family.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Lifetime Care Hospice or St. Charles Church in her memory.
