Obituary of Angelita G. Anson-Fontana MD

Angelita G. Anson-Fontana, M. D. passed away on January 28, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Samuel P. Fontana; devoted mother of Joseph R. Fontana and his wife Gloria and Mary Elizabeth Fontana-Penn and her husband Raymond; loving grandmother of Jacqueline Angela Penn, Elizabeth Anna Penn, Samuel L., Gabriel A., Daniel J., and Nathaniel J. Fontana. She was a cherished sister of Clariabelle G., Luis G. and Cesar G. Anson and was 1 of 9 children. Also survived by four sisters-in-law, Annie, Magdalena, Monina and Tessie Anson; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was a lifetime member of the Monroe County Medical Society.

Friends may call at St. Joseph's Church, 43 Gebhardt Road, Penfield, Saturday 11-12 NOON where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12 NOON. Interment, Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Catholic Relief Services, 228 W. Lexington St., Baltimore, MD 21201.
