Michael, Sean, Adam, Jill, Gail and Tom,
Jane and I are truly saddened by your loss. Bob was a good friend to both of us. We met our freshman year at Valpo (fall 1967). He roomed just down the hall. Our sophmore year we both lived in the same dorm; I roomed with Paul Lex and your Dad/Brother was a couple of floors above. Over the next three years we roomed together. It was during this time that Bob met Ruthie. The two of us and then the four of us had some good times! Times that will always be remembered.
I am so glad that Paul and I were able to visit Bob last spring with Michael. It was a really great visit!
Jane and I planned to attend the service this afternoon. The weather is not going to allow this to happen. I am so sorry for that. Please accept our thoughts and prayers and know that your Dad/Brother was a very meaningful part of our lives and meant so much to us.
