Obituary of Joseph Simon Lazarus

Joseph Simon Lazarus of Fairport passed away October 15, 2017 at age 48. He was predeceased by his parents, Simon Wilfred Lazarus and Sarah Nawab; daughter, Sarah Diane Lazarus; brother, Julius Simon Lazarus. Joseph is survived by his daughter, Audrey Z. Lazarus; siblings, Veronica Pervaiz, Jackson Simon Lazarus, Johnny (Rita) Simon Lazarus, Steve (Sumaira) Simon Lazarus, Alan (Lauren) Simon Lazarus, Susan (Waqar) Simon Lazarus; many nieces and nephews. Joe earned two Master's Degrees from RIT and worked for MCCI as CFO. Through his work he travelled extensively throughout Asia. He was an active member of Fairport Rotary Club, he loved to play golf and listen to music. Joe was a compassionate person with a kind heart who was always ready and willing to help people when they needed him. He was happiest when he was surrounded by children. Joe's Memorial Mass will be celebrated at The Church of the Assumption, 20 East Ave., Fairport on Friday October 27 at 11:15AM. Interment private. Those wishing may direct donations to the church in Joseph's memory.
