Obituary of William F. Garbe

William F. Garbe of Penfield died August 25 2012 after a courageous two year battle with cancer. Bill is predeceased by his wife of 45 years, Helen. Bill is survived by his sons, David Garbe (Wendy Mike) and his children, Lauren Zwirn and Kyle Garbe, John (Renee) Garbe and their daughter, Caroline Garbe; brother-in-law, William H Bach; several nieces, nephews and friends. Bill was a physicist for 32 years before retiring from the Kodak Research Lab. He was also a boy scout leader. Friends may call at Jennings, Nulton & Mattle Funeral Home, 1704 Penfield Road, Penfield on Tuesday from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. A celebration of Bill's life will be held Thursday, 10:00am at Prince of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 6020 Pittsford-Palmyra Road, Fairport. A private entombment will be held in White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider donations to the church in his memory.
