Obituary of Judi A. Cummins

Judi A. Cummins, 80, of Canandaigua, New York, passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning, May 14^th, in the presence of family at her bedside.

Judi was born in Syracuse, New York in 1943 to Paul Z. Cummins and Marguerite (Hook) Cummins and was raised in the town of Dewitt.  She always loved art and studied Advertising Design at Syracuse University.  After graduating in 1965, Judi married and focused on being a mother to her three children, while continuing her passion for art through her paintings and T-shirt/Sweatshirt design.  Judi also loved ice skating and ice dancing and pursued this hobby with lessons in her adult life.  Many family outings occurred near an ice rink.  As well, Judi enjoyed reading, gardening, and country line dancing.  She even moved to Nashville, Tennessee briefly due to her fondness for country music.

Judi is preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Lisa (Ippolito) Martin.

Judi is survived by her life partner, Allan Hammerick of Canandaigua, her son, Mark Ippolito and daughter-in-law, Julia (Smith) Ippolito of Fairport, her daughter, Laurie (Ippolito) Geringer of Nashua, New Hampshire, her son-in-law, Dale Martin, of Fairport, and grandchildren Jacob Geringer, Haley Geringer, Gianna Ippolito and Rosanna Ippolito.

Services are being held privately for the family.
