Obituary of Remo J. Dortenzio

Remo J. Dortenzio of Penfield passed away January 29, 2016. He was predeceased by his wife, Barbara. Remo is survived by his and Barbara's daughters, Nancy and Diane; his loving wife, Joyce and her children, Scott and Kim. Remo was loved and adored by his 5 grandchildren, Abby, Michael, Natalie, Joy and A.J.; also survived by his brother, Mario (Arlene); nephews, Matthew and Michael. Remo was much loved by all, an inspiration to so many, and a teacher extraordinaire. He was a true mentor to all who crossed his path. He led a noble life, and through his own example of faith, taught us all the true meaning of unconditional love. Friends may call at Jennings, Nulton & Mattle Funeral Home, 1704 Penfield Road Monday 4-7PM. Remo's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday 10 AM at St. Jerome's Church, 207 S. Garfield St., East Rochester. A separate service will be held Thursday in Corning, NY at St. Mary's Cemetery Chapel, where interment will follow.
