Obituary of Joyce C. Lindskoog

Penfield: Passed Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at age 80 with her family and Pastor by her side. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Edwin; children, David (Cathy) Lindskoog, Daniel Lindskoog; grandchildren, Jonathan (Sandy) Lindskoog, Michael (Jordan) Marsh-Lindskoog, Andrew (Sarah Bury) Lindskoog, Elizabeth Lindskoog; great-granddaughters, Mackenzie Marsh, Alice Lindskoog.

Joyce was a lifelong resident of Penfield and most recently a resident at Baywinde Independent Living.  Joyce enjoyed reading, knitting and crocheting, grandkids and great-grandkids and her pets.

The family is appreciative of the wonderful care and support from Highland Hospital Palliative Care service, UR Home Hospice and to Marlene Graves and her staff who cared for Joyce with love and compassion in her final days.

Calling hours:  Friday October 27th from 3:00pm – 7:00pm at Jennings, Nulton & Mattle Funeral Home, 1704 Penfield Road, Penfield, NY 14526. Joyce’s Service of Victory will be celebrated Saturday October 28th at 11AM at Faith Lutheran Church, 2576 Browncroft Blvd., Rochester, NY 14625. Interment immediately following at Oakwood Cemetery, 1975 Baird Road, Penfield, NY 14526.  There will be a reception at  Faith Lutheran Church, 2576 Browncroft Blvd., Rochester, NY 14625 after the interment.  In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Community Lutheran Ministries, 940 Joseph Ave, Rochester, NY 14621, Eastern Service Workers Association, 234 Bay St, Rochester NY 14605, or Faith Lutheran Church.
