Honeoye Falls, NY – Margaret M. Perry, a cherished resident of Honeoye Falls, New York, passed away peacefully with her glasses on while engrossed in a book in the comfort of her own home on August 29, 2023, at the age of 94. She was born on November 21, 1928, in Rochester, NY, and made Honeoye Falls her home for many fulfilling years.

Margaret was a woman of many passions, and her life was a testament to her determined and loving spirit. Her love for reading was a defining characteristic, and she could often be found engrossed in the daily newspaper or historical fiction novels. Her thirst for knowledge and her remarkable ability to transport herself to different worlds through literature were sources of inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Animals held a special place in Margaret's heart, and her beloved cat, Lucy, was her constant companion and confidant. Their bond was a reflection of Margaret's deep capacity for love and care.

Margaret's sweet tooth was legendary, and she found true joy in savoring dark chocolate and the delectable custards lovingly prepared by Rae, indulging in these treats!

Margaret dedicated many years of her life to her work at Kodak, where she displayed unwavering commitment and professionalism.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, George Perry. She received incredible love, care, and support from her nephew, Mike Leggett, and his wife, Francine Leggett,

and their children, Mike and Valerie Leggett and Jason and Melanie(Leggett) Clary. Margaret held a special love for Elaina, Miles, and Hudson.

Margaret M. Perry was a cherished friend and neighbor. She enjoyed visits from her friends from long ago and new.  Her warm smile, friendly demeanor, and sense of humor endeared her to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

The family wishes to extend special thanks to Lauri Philp for her loving care and unwavering commitment to Margaret during her final years. In addition, our heartfelt appreciation goes to Dr. Michael Obrecht and the compassionate staff at Rush Family Medicine for their unwavering support and dedicated care during Margaret's journey. Your kindness brought comfort during a challenging time.

All services for Margaret will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Lollypop Farm in Margaret's memory.

Margaret's memory will be treasured by all who had the privilege of sharing in her life. May she rest in peace, knowing that her legacy of warmth, compassion, and determination lives on in the hearts of those who loved her.
