Obituary of Donald James Germano
Donald James Germano passed away August 29, 2023, with his beloved family by his side. Predeceased by his parents, Carmen and Rose Germano; and brother, Joseph Germano. Survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Mary; his sons, David (Chandra), Peter (Kristie), Michael (Amber); daughter, Mary; grandchildren, Gloria, Alessa, Charlie, Luca, Briella, and Mila; sister, Joyce Kluchko (Tom); sister-in-law, Susan Germano; many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Deacon Don was a financial planner and proudly served the Catholic Church as a Deacon since 2001.
Visitation for Deacon Don will be held at Jennings, Nulton and Mattle Funeral Home from 4-7pm. Friday, September 1. His funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 5th at 10:30 am., St. Joseph's Church, 43 Gebhardt Road, Penfield. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Neurology Department (Movement Disorders Division/ Parkinsons) of the University of Rochester Medical Center or St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.
