Obituary of Emogene M. Draxl

Emogene M. Draxl of Canandaigua: Precious mother and grandmother passed away peacefully at M.M. Ewing Continuing Care Center on March 26th 2009 at age 87. A native of Hornell, NY and a long time resident of Penfield NY and Naples NY. Emogene "Emmie" Draxl is survived by her daughter, Jean (Doug) Nather of Canandaigua; sons, Robert P. (Bernadette) Draxl of Brighton and Stephen (Debra) Draxl of Naples; grandchildren, Aaron (Miyoko), Alicia, Anne, Philip, Heather and Stephen; great-granddaughters, Phoebe and Isobel; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert G. Draxl and daughter, Mary Ellen. There will be a private service for the family. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the M.M. Ewing Continuing Care Center, 350 Parrish St., Canandaigua NY 14424 or the Alzheimers Association of Rochester, 435 East Henrietta Road, Rochester NY 14620.
