Bernie was a wonderful symbol of peace and kindness: Always a genuin, warm smile and kind words. He and I played catch over 35 years ago and that was to be a signature moment in time. He and JoAnn have been such great family friends. I will remember him forever.

Bernie was a gentleman in the truest meaning of the word. He was a dear, dear man. I never tired hearing his stories of the Crossman Seed Company. For me, the world is a better place for having known Bernie.

Dearest JoAnn:
We are so sorry to know Bernie is no longer with us.
I always enjoyed his stories about being on that big ship in WWII.
And knowing he and Larry's father worked at the seed factory together was an interesting antidote to Bernie's interesting life.
We hope that you are well and will see you Saturday. Kris Coleman
