Michael B. Sheedy, Sr.

Penfield – Michael B. “Mike” Sheedy Sr., 82, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 2, 2026. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Rozanne Marcus; his children, Colleen (Mike) Kennedy, Cathy Sheedy, Cheryl Wheaton, and Michael (Tiffany) Sheedy; his stepsons, Robert (Michelle) Quinn and Andrew (Debra Swersky) Quinn; and his grandchildren, Rawleigh (Courtney), Cailyn, Ryan, Michaela, Aaron, Ava, Jackson and Griffin. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Joseph Marcus and several nieces and nephews.

He was a lifelong Rochester area resident and businessman.  He founded the commercial glazing company Rochester Glass and was the owner for over 40 years.

Mike loved his family and friends, good food, travel, laughter, Corvettes, Penfield Country Club, and all things Irish.

He will be greatly missed by many.

Per his request the family will celebrate his life privately.
