Stanley Edwin "Kip" Jordan Obituary
Stanley Jordan, better known as Kip to all, passed suddenly on April 14, 2026 at age 99. He is predeceased by his wife, Geraldine, daughter, Jill and brother, Chris. He is survived by his brother, Donald, children, Kip Jr (Linda), Tom (Princetta) and Jim (Mary Beth Inchalik), grandchildren: Shannon, Stacy, Sara, Emily, Tom II, Alicia, and Casey, 15 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Born in Orlando, Kip served in the army during World War II and was stationed in Germany and Japan. He and his wife Gerry were married nearly 75 years and during that time raised four children , built two family homes and had a stint of semi-pro baseball in Missouri where he attended William Jewell College.
He was an avid golfer, pool and card shark. Playing cards was a daily ritual for he and his brother Donnie. For the last several years, he enjoyed frequent visits to Wegmans, breakfast with the boys at Durfs, mowing the lawn and family gatherings for birthdays and holidays.
His life revolved around his family and several close friends of many years. He was fortunate enough to remain at home with frequent visits from family and friends. We will all deeply miss his sharp wit and humor.
In lieu of Kip’s upcoming 100 year birthday celebration we are having a celebration of his life on May 30, 2026 from 1 to 3 PM at the VFW at 300 Macedon Center Road in Fairport.
