Samuel Bentivegna, 62, of Rochester, New York, passed away on March 14th, 2026, in the comfort of his own home.

Samuel was born in Rochester, NY to Santo and Kathleen Bentivegna (Yackiw) on December 19th, 1963. He went to high school at Jefferson High School and graduated in 1981. He went on to join the United States Marine Corps. He retired from Frito Lay, working there for 17 years. He enjoyed sports memorabilia collection, fishing and spending time with his family. 

Samuel is survived by his wife, Michelle Bentivegna of Rochester, NY. He is survived by his children Nicholas Bentivegna of Rochester, NY; Tyler (Steven) Bentivegna of Rochester, NY and August (Leah) Bentivegna of Rochester, NY. He also leaves behind his brothers Michael (Bridget) Bentivegna of Warsaw, NY and Adam (Bethany) Bentivegna of Ontario, NY and nephews Adam, Eric and Noah.

Visitation and memorial will be held at Jennings Nulton & Mattle Funeral Home located at 1704 Penfield Road, Penfield NY, 14526, on Tuesday March 24th, 2026, from 3pm until 7pm. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the United States Department of Veterans Affairs.
