Passed away March 8, 2026.

Survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Nancy Hagerman; daughters, Kristin (Dan) Cuccia, Joy (David) Lent, and Brynn (Bill) Summerson; and his grandsons, Connor Cuccia, Reed Cuccia, and Samuel Summerson. 

Bill was born and raised in Rochester, NY. After graduating from Gates-Chili, he entered the Army and served 1 tour in Vietnam followed by 2 years at a post in Germany. After returning home to the states, Bill married Nancy in 1971.

He attended Rochester Institute of Technology on the GI Bill at night school while working full-time at Xerox. Bill eventually built a successful insurance business which he owned until he finally retired at age 70.

Bill loved the game of golf, his prized baseball card collection, the Buffalo Bills, and above all, his wife, daughters, and grandsons.

Bill's graveside service will be held privately for the family.
