Thomas Henry Thomas, 71, of Webster, NY, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2026.

Born on February 14, 1954, in Binghamton, NY, Thomas was the beloved son of Antonia Kabanek and Harold Thomas. He built a long and respected career in Human Resources, working for companies including Schlegel Corporation, Mott’s, and NRG Energy. Throughout his professional life, he was admired for his strong work ethic, integrity, and genuine care for the people he worked alongside.

Above all else, Thomas was a devoted and deeply proud father. Nothing brought him greater joy than talking about his children whether with family, friends, or complete strangers. Sports were a lifelong passion and an essential part of his family life. As his children grew up, Thomas was always present - coaching teams, umpiring baseball games, and refereeing basketball games. Sports were woven into who he was, just as his children were always at the center of his world.

Thomas is survived by his children, Jonathon “JT” Thomas (Marcia Prober), Christopher Thomas (Charissa Thomas), and Sarah (Thomas) Wall (Ron Wall); his cherished grandchildren, Capri Thomas, Colette Thomas, Addison Wall, and Lainee Wall; and his brother, Robert Thomas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Antonia Kabanek and Harold Thomas, and his brother, Harold Thomas Jr.

A service will be held on February 20, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. John of Rochester Church (8 Wickford Way, Fairport, NY 14450).  If you are unable to attend the mass, you can watch via livestream at this link.

A brief gathering will take place immediately following the Mass, with a Celebration of Life to follow at 2:00 p.m. at The Deland House on Main (former Green Lantern in Fairport).

Thomas will be remembered for his strength, his unwavering dedication to family, and the immense pride and love he carried for his children every single day. His legacy lives on through the lives he shaped, the values he instilled, and the countless memories shared by those who were fortunate enough to love him.
