Jean S. Appleton (Stenzel) of Penfield passed away January 17, 2026. She was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Ralph who she met in the Engineering Department at RG & E; also predeceased by her grandson, Teddy.  She is survived by her sons, Carl (Deb) and Don (Kathy); grandchildren, Jillian, Ethan, Kelly; step-grandchildren, Connor, Karly, great grandchildren James, Jordan and nephew Ron. Jean spent many years at her home in Penfield enjoying her pet cats and the numerous birds and wildlife in her backyard. Services will be held privately. In Jean’s memory, please feed the birds and be kind to each other.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity or your choice or Incarnation Episcopal Church, Penfield.
