Ralph H. Miller, born on September 7, 1935, in Rochester, New York, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2025, in Penfield, New York. He was 90 years old.

Ralph, a lifetime Penfield resident, dedicated his life to craftsmanship and family. An accomplished woodworker, he built a successful career in the family business, specializing in building and remodeling homes. His skill and dedication left a lasting mark on countless residences throughout the region, each one a testament to his precision and pride in his work.

Beyond his professional life, Ralph found joy in the warmth of Florida winters. He cherished spending several months each year in Fort Pierce and Vero Beach, where he enjoyed the sunshine and a slower pace of life.

Ralph proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1958-1960 and was stationed at Fort Knox, Kentucky. His time in service reflected his strong sense of duty and commitment.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Barbara Miller. Together they built a loving home and raised a close-knit family. Ralph’s legacy continues through his children: Cathy (Malcolm) Nulton, Nancy (Jim) Jaeckels, and Brian (Judy) Miller; his grandchildren: Mark (Lauren) Nulton, Lisa (Eric) Streff, Michael (Ally) Nulton, Mikaela (Chris) Knoll, Charlie (Lauren) Jaeckels, Greg Miller, Claire (Brett) Whitty, and Drew Miller; and his great-grandchildren: Morey and Micha Nulton, Colin Streff, Madi Nulton, Hallie and Beckitt Knoll, sisters, Ada Rodman, Marlene (Jerry) Kier, Edna Miller, brother-in-law, Gary Foxluger, sister-in-law, Suzanne (Bill) Caffyn, brother-in-law, Tim (Patti) McKenna, sister-in-law, Patricia McKenna, many nieces and nephews. 

He is predeceased by his parents, Herman and Hortence Miller, sister, Diane Foxluger, brother-in-law, David McKenna.

Ralph’s life was one of quiet strength and enduring devotion to his craft, to his country, and most importantly to those he loved. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him. 

Calling hours will be held on December 12, 2025, from 04:00 PM to 06:00 PM at Jennings, Nulton & Mattle Funeral Home 1704 Penfield Road. The family will conduct a private funeral and internment.
