WEBSTER, N.Y. — Daniel John Behnfeldt, born August 16, 1957, son of Ruth (Ricker) Behnfeldt and the late Marvin John Behnfeldt, baptized August 25, 1957, returned to our Lord on All Saints Day, November 1, 2025.  He was laid to rest at St. John Lutheran cemetery, Sherwood, Ohio, on November 6, 2025.

Dan was an enthusiastic member of Faith Lutheran Church in Penfield for over 60 years.  Born with intellectual disabilities, Dan asked little of the world but every day contributed to it an amazing sunshine and joy from his heart.  He treasured his many friendships, often spanning decades. He was dearly loved by his family.

Surviving are his mother, Ruth Behnfeldt, and sister, Carla Behnfeldt, both of Webster; a brother, Stephen (Gina) Behnfeldt of Pennsylvania; a nephew and niece, Nathaniel and Juliet Behnfeldt; and countless friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas.

A memorial service for Daniel will be held Saturday morning, November 15, at 11:00 at Faith Lutheran Church, 2576 Browncroft Blvd, Rochester, New York, 14625.
