Robert F. Haley

Robert F. Haley passed away peacefully, surrounded by his beloved family, on September 26, 2025. He was predeceased by his parents James A. Haley and Elisabeth Glasl Haley; his daughter, Mary Elisabeth Haley; as well as his five brothers, James Haley, Jack Haley, Thomas Haley, Bernard Haley, Joseph Haley; and five sisters, Louise Garland, Marion Cherry, Betty Arnold, Jeanne MacCallum, Carolyn Fox.
He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Veronica C. Haley; two children, Paula H. Bayline (Scott) and Patrick T. Haley; two cherished grandchildren, Haley E. Bayline-Jolin (Ryan) and Samuel Parry-Haley; and many nieces and nephews.
Bob was a graduate of Cameron County High School, Class of 1948, and went on to earn his degree from Penn State University in 1952-1956. He served his country honorably in the United States Air Force during the Korean War, from 1948 to 1952. Following his military service, Bob worked for GTE Sylvania and later retired from Xerox Corporation.
Bob never sought the spotlight, but his loyalty, strength, and sense of responsibility left a lasting impact all on that had the privilege of knowing him.
Bob was a lifetime member of Knights of Columbus, The American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a member of the Church of the Assumption, 20 East Avenue, Fairport, NY where a Memorial Mass will be celebrated in his honor on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 12:00 p.m.
