In Loving Memory of Donald Phillips


Donald Phillips passed away peacefully on September 11, 2025, surrounded by his devoted family and friends.


Don is predeceased by his siblings, Dorothy, Marlyn, John, and sister-in-law, Patricia (Tom). He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Shirley; his son, Chris and daughter-in-law, Jen; grandchildren, Matthew, Robbie, and Nahalla; and his siblings, Marlene, Jane, Joan, Gary, Diane (David), Danny (Maureen), Michael (Tracy), and Nick (Debbie). He also leaves behind many cherished nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.


Don proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for four years. Upon returning home, he married the love of his life, Shirley, and together they built a life full of joy and shared experiences. Don worked for the United States Postal Service and was known for his dedication and strong work ethic. He found great happiness in spending time with his family and friends. Whether helping his son with projects, bowling with loved ones, or tending to his lawn and garden, Don brought warmth and care to everything he did.


A Memorial Mass will be held for Don at 12 PM on September 19, 2025, at St. Joseph's Church, 43 Gebhardt Road. A procession to White Haven Memorial Park will follow the service. 


In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Don’s honor to The Sunset House, Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center, or a charity of your choice.
