Masterton, Thomas F. (Tom/Bat)

Penfield: September 8, 2025, at age 72. Tom is predeceased by his mother Patricia Hoelzle and  stepfather Herbert Hoelzle; mother and father-in-law Margaret and Arthur Urckfitz; brother-in-law Tucker Urckfitz; sister-in-law Virginia Urckfitz; sister-in-law Cindy Masterton.  Tom is survived by wife Sandra; children Katherine (Ben) Randisi, Timothy (Kaylea) Masterton, Christopher (Natalie) Masterton, Kimberly (Corey) Cicilioni; grandchildren Oliver, Alice, Samuel, Gabrielle, and Penelope; brother Michael (Ingrid) Masterton, sister-in-law Beth Masterton; brothers-in-law Douglas and Jim (Sharon) Urckfitz; several beloved nieces and nephews, cousins, family, and friends.

Tom grew up in Rochester, NY, where he enjoyed participating in athletics, even into his adulthood.  Once he married the love of his life, Sandy, he moved to Penfield, where he established his roots in the community.  Sandy, the "girl next door", and Tom were married for 49 years.  Additionally, Tom loved spending time with his family, watching the NY Yankees, photography, and American history. He enjoyed taking pictures of his children during their various sporting events and developing the film in his home studio. Tom was an avid reader, especially on the topic of the Civil War, and enjoyed visiting battlefields, including Gettysburg.  As a dedicated Scout Master for Boy Scouts Troop 260 in Penfield, Tom's contributions positively impacted the lives of many. Tom spent 37 years working at Kodak and cherished many of the friendships he made there throughout his career.

Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at 10:30 AM, at St Joseph’s Church, Penfield, NY.
